Evie, Musically: Two BIG things here! -- April 17, 2009
1- I am exploring the possibility of an East Coast Tour this summer. I would like to stay for 2-3 weeks, singing at churches, camps, coffee shops, and any other venues I can get my hands on.
2- I have decided to work with producer, Billy Smiley on my sophomore album!! I am beginning the process of sending him all the songs I've written in the last 2-3 years. ...That's a lot of songs. :) I am hoping to record this summer, or at least by the end of this year. This all depends on finances and time, of course. I am hoping that, as I get more bookings, I will be able to raise the money needed. I am also looking into other ways to make this venture financially feasible. If you have any ideas or resources you would like to share, please let me know! I am open to any ideas. My debut project, My Beautiful Everything, was produced in Nashville by Billy Smiley and released in 2006. This album may be purchased here on my website and it is also available on itunes. Since the release of my album, I continue to write new music and am looking forward to producing my sophomore project. I*ve been in the studio recording piano/vocal demos. Evie Haskell Weds Josh Herndon!!! -- September 29, 2008
Evie and Josh Herndon were united in marriage on Saturday, September 27, 2008. The wedding was officiated by Rev. Jay Herndon (Josh's dad) and Rev. Ben Haskell (Evie's dad) at Portland Christian Center in Portland, OR. After a week-long honeymoon, Evie and Josh will be residing in the Bay area, CA, where Josh is youth pastor. Evie and Josh send special thanks to all their friends and family who traveled long distances to attend the wedding! "One" is First Place in International Songwriting Contest -- August 17, 2008

Evie was invited to open for Grammy award winning group, Third Day for a concert in Plymouth, MA on July 11, 2007 at the historic Plymouth Memorial Hall. The event was organized by YFest in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Evie and her band played to a sold out crowd of 1300 and received a standing ovation. The concert with Third Day opened up many other opportunites. During her month long stay on the east coast she received several invitations from churches and coffee houses in Massachusetts and New Hampshire as well as a radio station in Providence, Rhode Island. 2007 Momentum Award for Album of the Year -- April 01, 2007
